Obtaining an An Post franking licence

All franking machine users must have a valid franking licence issued by Royal Mail. Pitney Bowes will apply to Royal Mail on your behalf to licence your franking machine.
The licence, which will be posted to you by An Post, includes:
- User’s name and address
- Name and number of the Model of the Franking Equipment
- The serial number of the Franking Equipment (Meter)
- Unique die number
Note: You must inform Pitney Bowes of any changes to the company name or address; we will then advise An Post who will issue a new licence.
