Entering a manual weight on the DM300-DM450

Enter the weight of a mailpiece when you know its weight and are not using the scale.
Products affected: DM300™, DM400™, DM450™, DM450SL™ (G930)

Enter the weight of a mailpiece when you know its weight and are not using the scale.

  1. Press Weigh / Rate.
  2. Choose Enter The Weight Manually.
  3. Use the keypad to enter the item weight.
  4. Select either Grams or KG's.
  5. Press OK.
  6. Select the desired class.
  7. Select Done when you are finished entering the class options and fees.
  8. Place your envelope or tape sheet against the registration wall of the meter. Slide it to the right until the meter grasps it.
