New Features & Enhancements

Evacuation Order feature has been improved

When starting an evacuation order, it is now possible to send a notification email to all signed in visitors and staff.

Visitor Name field now uses proper case

All Visitor Name fields now capitalise the first letter of each word, for example John Smith.

Kiosk signature capture prompt has been improved

The kiosk app now displays an explicit Sign Here prompt when capturing a signature.

Improvements made to auto sign-out workflow label

When configuring workflows, the description of the auto sign-out feature has been improved to read Select a time when visitors will be automatically signed out.

Improvements made to Product Registration process

When using the web app to register a kiosk / tablet, the QR code scanning instructions have been improved to read kiosk / tablet.

Improvements made to QR code scanning instructions on the kiosk app

When a visitor uses the kiosk app to sign in using a workflow which requires documents to be uploaded, an additional message now explains It is mandatory to upload documents before access can be granted to this site. Please contact the admin for more information.

Issues Fixed

Improved error handling when importing pre-registered visitors

This has been resolved with a frontend code fix. Previously, an error report was not generated if an error occurred while importing pre-registered visitors. Now an error report is generated.

Improved handling of returning visitors

This has been resolved with a frontend code fix. Previously, the web app’s dashboard statistics were not always reflecting returning visitors, this now works correctly.

Kiosk app installation problems resolved

This has been resolved with a frontend code fix. An error occasionally occurred when installing the kiosk app. Now no error occurs.

Improved stability when importing pre-registered visitors

This has been resolved with a frontend code fix. Previously, a blank window would occasionally appear when importing pre-registered visitors. This no longer occurs.

Improved the kiosk sign-in process for pre-registered visitors who don’t use a QR code

This has been resolved with a frontend code fix. Previously, if a pre-registered visitor signed in to the kiosk app via the Visitor Sign-In button instead of the Sign-In/Sign-Out with QR Code button, the web app would sometimes fail to display their unique identifier (e.g. phone number or email address). Now, the web app always displays the visitor’s unique identifier.

Improvements made to the Document Management feature

This has been resolved with a backend code fix. Previously, the Document Management feature would incorrectly display multiple instances of the same document, now the document is only displayed once.

Improved SMS and Email support for Notifications and Templates

This has been resolved with a backend code fix. Previously, email and SMS options were not always displayed for all notifications. Now the correct options are displayed where applicable.
