Adding a Normal Preset on the DM100, DM125

Add a Normal Preset to save your preferred default settings on your meter.

1. Place your letter on the scale and select the correct class that you wish to create a preset for. An example is Class / Regular / Small to set up a standard service small letter.
2. Confirm that the screen shows the desired mail class.
3. If you wish to have a graphic slogan added to your Normal preset, select AD and make your selection from the list. You may need to press Page Down to see the ad option.
4. If you use the Text Messaging feature and want to add a text message, select TEXT and make your selection from the list. You may need to press Page Down to see the TEXT option.
5. Press Custom Presets.
6. Select Define Normal Preset.
7. Press Yes/Enter when prompted to confirm all values.
8. Select Continue.
9. Press Home to return to the Home screen.

Important:

• You cannot edit a normal preset. To change a normal preset, you must add a new normal preset, which replaces the previous normal preset.
• Normal presets are the default conditions on your meter that you define based on your most commonly used values, such as postage rates and class. These normal preset values are the default state on your meter when it first powers on, or after it awakens from "sleep" mode.
